Why an ammo tin beats a hamper

Most coffee gift sets arrive in a basket or a cardboard sleeve that goes straight in the recycling. The M2A1 tin is the part of this gift that lasts: a rubber gasket seal that keeps it airtight, steel walls that block light, and a quick-release catch. Ours come from the same supplier that supplies the MOD, so this is the real thing, not a novelty replica. Airtight and light-proof happen to be exactly the conditions coffee keeps best in, so when the four bags are finished, the tin carries on as coffee storage, range kit or a dry box for years. It is a coffee hamper where the hamper is the second present.

The coffee gift for hard to buy men, military and veterans

A standard-issue good gift for serving personnel, veterans, or their partners, and our first recommendation for anyone impossible to buy for. Strong brews, kit that lasts, and an ammo tin that needs no explanation to anyone who has carried one. Not sure this is the right pick? Our complete coffee gifts guide covers every option from stocking fillers to the full resupply.
